Remarkable comment on Ahmet Özer from Cem Küçük: 'There is nothing left that requires him to stay inside'

Cem Küçük, one of the journalists close to the government, made assessments regarding CHP Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer on the Medya Kritik program broadcast on TGRT.

Stating that he had examined the indictment of Özer, who was arrested on charges of membership in the PKK terrorist organization, Küçük claimed that the file had become invalid.

''NO ALLEGATIONS REGARDING ÖCALAN, NO KANDIL CONNECTION''

Küçük stated that the indictment concerns Abdullah Öcalan, but that no direct connection to Kandil has been established, and used the following expressions:

"All allegations regarding Ahmet Özer revolve around Abdullah Öcalan. However, no direct relationship with Kandil has been detected. One of the wiretaps in the indictment might be problematic, but this does not require long-term detention. There is also no evidence that he transferred money. Therefore, there is no chance for Ahmet Özer to be kept inside."

''NEW ARRESTS ARE NOT POSSIBLE IN THIS PROCESS''

Stating that new developments have occurred in the Imralı process along with Öcalan's recent statements, Küçük said that this situation could also affect the Ahmet Özer case.
