The commission established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) continues its work as part of the new resolution process, dubbed 'A Turkey Without Terrorism,' which is being conducted by the People's Alliance—formed by the AKP and MHP—with the DEM Party and terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan.

AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, after delivering the opening speech of the TBMM on October 1, first went to the DEM Party benches and shook hands with Tuncer Bakırhan. Erdoğan's sincere dialogue with DEM Party officials at the reception held after the General Assembly drew attention.

Following these developments, a notable public opinion survey was conducted regarding the perspective of DEM Party voters toward the People's Alliance.

In the BUPAR Research poll, participants were asked, "If the DEM Party decides to support the People's Alliance in the elections based on Öcalan's decision, what would your stance be?" and "Should the constitutional rule on eligibility be changed so that Erdoğan can be a candidate again?"

The responses to the survey are as follows:
