Shocking claim regarding villagers in Narin Güran investigation: 'For 19 days...'
Hürriyet columnist Hande Fırat shared information she obtained regarding the Narin Güran murder investigation.
The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır on August 21, was found 19 days later.
Narin's lifeless body was found on September 8 inside a sack, covered with stones, in the Eğertutmaz Stream near her home.
In the investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, which has become a major topic on Turkey's agenda, 24 people, including family members, have been detained.
While search efforts for Narin continued, her uncle Salim Güran and Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed after Narin's lifeless body was found, were arrested.
Meanwhile, 8 more people, including Narin's mother, brother, and uncle, have been arrested as part of the investigation.
The number of detainees in the case has risen to 10.
Hürriyet columnist Hande Fırat shared details from the investigation into how Narin was murdered.
Fırat claimed that the villagers had made false reports for 19 days and stated the following:
"How, you ask? According to a briefing given to high-level officials, for 19 days, certain individuals in the village first made fake reports by calling, thus misleading the investigation, and then discarded their SIM cards. It doesn't end there...
There are tents around the village where Romani people live. Slippers were found in two different locations. It was reported. It turned out they did not belong to Narin.
Tips made from phones with SIM cards discarded, a mindset that places slippers in two different places, a strange dark alliance, a complex web of relationships, allegations of money, and even stranger, a “chain of problems that could be caused by questions that might arise later”...
Isn't it painful? There is a village called Tavşantepe, and in this village, consisting of relatives, someone or some people strangled little Narin to death. Turkey has risen up in outrage. The family blamed "foreign powers."
If politicians and local leaders speak of the family's power and importance, then they, too, will find the courage to blame the death of an 8-year-old child on foreign powers.
Such organized evil makes one's skin crawl... Let Buckle's words, "Society prepares the crime, the criminal commits it," be etched into all of our minds. Let it be etched so that places like Tavşantepe, where everything looks pitch black, do not exist in Turkey.
