Snow warning from Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen: When will it snow in Istanbul?

WHEN WILL IT SNOW IN ISTANBUL?
Speaking about the snowfall, Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen said, "Snow will definitely come to Istanbul, but the system is delayed a bit. It was expected to arrive around the 10th or 11th of the month, but it currently looks like it will remain in the Balkans. We expect snowfall in Istanbul towards the middle of January.
Istanbul's winter is effective in January and February; there is usually no snowfall in December. So far, it has only snowed in Istanbul on two New Year's Eves," he said.
Stating that no snow is expected in Istanbul this week or next week, Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen announced that the lodos will be effective.
According to the meteorologist's warnings, while caution is needed regarding the lodos and air pollution, Istanbul residents need to be a little more patient for the snowfall.
