It has been revealed that 8-year-old Narin Güran, who was murdered in Diyarbakır, was found by a 3-person special team from the Gendarmerie Special Public Security Command (JÖAK), which was sent from Ankara on a special mission.

According to Sözcü's report, the 3 soldiers serving on the team, whose statements were taken after the body was found, stated that during the search efforts, they saw a sack with three large stones on it, and that they realized it was Narin when they approached, having noticed that this was not consistent with the ordinary course of life.

NEVZAT BAHTİYAR'S STATEMENT IS CONTRADICTORY

Confessor Nevzat Bahtiyar had confessed to hiding the young girl in the stream and leaving a rock on top of her.

However, the statement by the soldiers who found the young girl that “There were three large stones on it” strengthened the possibility that after Narin's body was hidden by Nevzat Bahtiyar, someone else came to the scene later and placed two more large rocks on top to prevent the body from being discovered.

"WHEN WE OPENED IT AND LOOKED, WE SAW A HUMAN BODY"

Non-commissioned Officer C.B.G., who first noticed the sack containing Narin, stated that he was a unit commander in the JÖAK Underwater Search and Rescue Team, saying, “While continuing the search in the direction of the water flow in the stream towards the Tigris River, while checking a point I was suspicious of with a 2-meter-long iron rod known as a probe, I saw a sack pressed down by 3 separate stones, which was contrary to the ordinary course of life, and surrounded by bushes. Part of the sack was in the water and part was on the edge of the stream. I came to the side of the sack and checked it with the iron rod in my hand. When I saw the sack, which was tied at the mouth, I immediately called out to my team commander, H.Ü. I informed him that I had seen a suspicious sack. At this time, my team commander and other personnel involved in the search activity also came to me. We pulled the suspicious sack out of the water and carried it to the edge of the stream. When we opened it and looked, we saw that it was a human body” he said.

Together with the other personnel in the team, we went in that direction. When we arrived at the coordinates 37SFS06008 89639, we saw a sack in the Eğertutmaz stream, wedged under a rock at the part where the stream meets the soil, and covered with 3 pieces of rock, 40 and 50 centimeters in diameter, to cover it. We approached the point where the sack was located safely. We removed the 3 large rock pieces on the sack. After untying the rope at the mouth of the sack with our hands, we cut the sack with a knife. When we saw that the weight inside the sack was a human body, our team commander, First Lieutenant H.Ü., informed the public security teams in the region” he said.
