Striking claim from Bahçeli's aide: 'If the PKK holds a congress, we will strike'

Within the scope of the developments initiated by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on October 22, known in the public eye as the "Imralı Process," a notable call came from Öcalan to the terrorist organization PKK on February 27. Öcalan had called on the organization to "dissolve itself and lay down arms."

Following this call, Turkey began waiting for the terrorist organization PKK to officially disband by convening its so-called congress. The congress, which was initially claimed to be held after Nevruz, was later alleged to have been postponed until the end of April. However, despite entering the first week of May, the PKK has yet to convene the congress in question.

"BAHÇELİ'S AIDE CALLED ME"

Halk TV presenter İsmail Küçükkaya stated that after his broadcast yesterday morning, one of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's aides reached out to him by phone. Küçükkaya shared the details of this private conversation with his viewers as follows:

"He brought up the opening initiated by Bahçeli. 'Who could have done this?' he asked. 'Who else could have softened the climate in the country this much? Who else could have reduced social tension so much by raising their voice in this opening?' he asked. I said, 'Bahçeli.' He said, 'Correct.'"

"WHO DOES NOT WANT THE OPENING TO SUCCEED?"

Küçükkaya also shared the critical question posed by Bahçeli's aide during the conversation:

"Well, a question for you," he said. "Who does not want the opening to succeed?"

I mentioned a few state names, and he answered 'correct' to each one."

Following this dialogue, Bahçeli's aide told Küçükkaya, "Let me give you some reliable information," and shared an important claim.

"THREAT TO THE PKK: IF YOU HOLD THE CONGRESS, WE WILL STRIKE YOU"

According to what Küçükkaya conveyed, Bahçeli's aide stated that some states do not want the terrorist organization PKK to respond to the dissolution call made by Öcalan and have issued open threats:

"Some states do not want the terrorist organization PKK to respond to the dissolution call made by Öcalan. These countries have issued threats to the organization, saying, 'If you hold the congress, we will strike you.'"
