Striking result from the average of 5 polls: Yavaş or Erdoğan?
An average was taken of polls conducted by 5 different public opinion research companies for the presidential election. In the studies, citizens were asked about AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş.
The Republican People's Party (CHP), which has initiated the process of determining a presidential candidate, will hold a primary election on March 23.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will enter the eagerly awaited primary as the sole candidate.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, on the other hand, had decided not to participate in the primary.
While there is curiosity about whether Yavaş will be a candidate in the elections, MDRaporlar, which lists national and international election and public opinion polls on social media, shared the average of 5 polls conducted in February.
In the study, which included polls conducted by HBS, DİEN, ASAL, Özdemir, and Saros in February, the average of the polls for Mansur Yavaş and AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was as follows:
Erdoğan: 44.7 percent
Erdoğan was elected President by receiving 52.18 percent of the vote in the second round of the elections.
Mansur Yavaş: 55.3 percent
Mansur Yavaş was elected mayor for the second time by receiving 60.43 percent of the vote in Ankara in the local elections.
