ORC Research conducted a comprehensive study of voters in its latest election poll in Istanbul and Ankara. The responses to the question, "If a general election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" revealed the political landscape in the two major cities. So, how are the parties' vote shares shaping up in Istanbul and Ankara? What is the state of the gap between the CHP and the AKP?

CHP AHEAD IN ISTANBUL

In Istanbul, 33.1 percent of participants answered the question, "If a general election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" with the CHP.

The CHP was followed by the AKP with 32 percent.

The DEM Party took third place with 7.1 percent.

MHP: 5.4 percent

İYİ Party: 5.1 percent

Victory Party (Zafer Partisi): 3.5 percent

YRP: 2.6 percent

TİP: 2.2 percent

YMP: 2.1 percent

Saadet Party: 1.8 percent

BBP: 1.6 percent

A Party: 1.5 percent

Other: 2 percent

CHP ALSO LEADS IN ANKARA: MHP, İYİ PARTY, AND ZAFER OUTPACE DEM

In Ankara, the CHP took first place with 33.4 percent.

The AKP came in second with 31.5 percent.

The MHP took third place with 7.6 percent.

It was followed by the İYİ Party with 6.4 percent.

BBP: 2.1 percent
