Striking warning from Naci Görür for that region! There is a fault ready to break there

Geoscientist Prof. Dr. Naci Görür drew attention to the area between Erzincan and Karlıova, stating, "The February 6 earthquakes also transferred energy to that region. If an earthquake is to occur in this country in the near future, the probability of it happening here is high. I have to explain to my people the place where the probability is high."

Naci Görür said, "Scientists have used many different methods to predict earthquakes in advance. No two earthquakes have similar aspects. They generally do not resemble each other in their characteristics. Istanbul is compared in the scientific world as an earthquake that is screaming 'I am coming.' None of these symptoms exist in China or Africa."

"WE ARE WORRIED THAT THE YEDİSU FAULT WILL PRODUCE AN EARTHQUAKE"

Görür used the following expressions regarding the earthquake:

-Earthquake resilience has come to the fore among scientists. In Turkey, both I and other fellow geoscientists are very seriously worried that the Yedisu Fault between Erzincan and Karlıova will produce an earthquake in that region. There is no need for prophecy or anything like that.

-The recurrence period for an earthquake on the Yedisu Fault has expired. It produces one every 250 years. We have come from the 1790s, when the last earthquake occurred, to today. This place is pregnant with an earthquake.

"READY TO BREAK"

-When the 1939 Erzincan earthquake occurred, this section did not break. It is ready to break and has become more dangerous.

"IF AN EARTHQUAKE IS TO OCCUR IN THIS COUNTRY IN THE NEAR FUTURE, THE PROBABILITY OF IT HAPPENING HERE IS HIGH"
