The results of a survey conducted by Istanbul Economy Research between January 31 and February 4, 2025, with approximately 2,000 people across 26 provinces in Turkey, have been shared. As part of the research, the questions 'Who is the most successful politician' and 'Which party would you vote for if a general election were held this Sunday' were asked.
WHO IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL POLITICIAN?
Mansur Yavaş leads the list of the most successful politicians again this month with 5.5 percent.
Mansur Yavaş was followed by Ekrem İmamoğlu with 4.9 percent.
President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ranked 3rd with 4.7 percent.

WHICH PARTY WOULD TAKE THE LEAD IF AN ELECTION WERE HELD THIS SUNDAY?
Regarding the question of which party you would vote for if a general election were held this Sunday, it is observed that although the rate of those responding with CHP experienced a sudden drop after the election, it increased slightly until the local elections in March following Özgür Özel's leadership in November 2023. After the local elections, there was a radical increase in the CHP's vote share.
CHP: 23.7 percent
The votes for the CHP, which experienced a significant drop in its vote share last month, rose again this month.
AKP: 20.8 percent
According to the survey, the AK Party had seen an upward trend in its vote share until the presidential election period, excluding the drop experienced during the February 6 earthquakes.
After the election period, a serious decline in vote shares prevailed during the summer months. August 2023 was the month in which the AK Party had its lowest rate in polls since December 2020.
