The name is confirmed... A sensational claim from Ankara's corridors: Is Akşener joining the cabinet?

As the countdown for the AKP congress begins, activity in the corridors regarding changes to be made within the party and the Cabinet has increased.

While the name of President Erdoğan's son-in-law Berat Albayrak had previously come to the agenda for a Cabinet reshuffle, this time Meral Akşener's name has started to stand out. Akşener's name has caused a great stir in the Ankara corridors.

President Erdoğan had dropped the lawsuits he filed against Akşener in recent months.

This situation has triggered new debates regarding Akşener's role in the Cabinet. Following MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's visit to İmralı and the operations carried out against municipalities, another hot topic on the agenda has become the Cabinet reshuffle.

Sözcü columnist Erdal Sağlam put forward a striking claim regarding the change in the cabinet.

In his statement, Sağlam said, "The cabinet reshuffle has started to be talked about again. Different names are on the agenda. It is said that Meral Akşener's name has been finalized for the Vice Presidency."

The name of a retired general is being mentioned for the Ministry of National Defense. Such things have started to be talked about in the Ankara corridors.

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's lawyer Hüseyin Aydın announced on October 30 that Erdoğan had dropped his lawsuits and complaints against former IYI Party Chairman Meral Akşener.
