A warning for 29 cities was also issued by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD). Heavy rainfall is expected in the vicinity of İzmir, Manisa, Denizli, Uşak, and Kütahya, while very heavy rainfall is expected in places in Aydın, the inland parts of İzmir, and the southern parts of Manisa. The precipitation is expected to lose its effect during the night hours.

SNOW ALARM FOR ISPARTA AND KONYA

Intense precipitation is expected tomorrow afternoon in the vicinity of Isparta, the eastern parts of Burdur, and the southwestern parts of Konya. In addition to heavy rain, snowfall will be seen in higher altitudes in these regions. Snow is expected to be particularly intense in the eastern parts of Isparta and the high altitudes of Konya.

STORMS WILL BE EFFECTIVE

Meteorology announced that strong winds and storms from southern directions are expected in the Aegean Region starting this evening, and in the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and the inland parts of the Western Black Sea tomorrow. There is a risk of strong gusty storms in higher altitudes. Due to the wind, which is expected to lose its effect by Wednesday evening, citizens were asked to take precautions against roof dislodgements and carbon monoxide poisoning from chimneys.

EXTREME RAINFALL WARNING FOR ANTALYA AND MUĞLA

Thunderstorms starting tomorrow across Antalya will be effective in the western and central districts from the morning hours, and in the eastern districts in the afternoon. Precipitation will be severe and, in some places, extreme, especially in districts such as Kaş, Demre, Finike, Manavgat, and Alanya.

The precipitation is expected to manifest as heavy snowfall in higher altitudes such as the Alacabel Pass on the Konya-Antalya highway.

PROVINCES WITH YELLOW AND ORANGE CODE WARNINGS

An "orange" code warning was issued for Antalya, Aydın, Isparta, İzmir, Manisa, and Muğla, where heavy rain and wind are expected; a "yellow" code warning was issued for Burdur, Denizli, Konya, Kütahya, and Uşak, where heavy rain and wind are expected, and for Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Balıkesir, Bolu, Çanakkale, Çankırı, Eskişehir, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Nevşehir, Niğde, Sivas, Yozgat, Aksaray, Karaman, Kırıkkale, and Karabük, where strong winds are expected.
