Germany approves Eurofighter sale to Turkey
Turkey's request to purchase 40 Eurofighter fighter jets has been approved by Germany.
The German Federal Security Council has given a positive response to Turkey's request to purchase 40 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets.
Turkey had been conducting negotiations for some time to acquire these aircraft.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is produced by a consortium formed by Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain.
This consortium includes major defense industry companies such as Airbus, BAE Systems, and Leonardo.
