Many roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic on January 1, 2024, as part of the "March for Mercy to Our Martyrs, Support for Palestine, and Condemnation of Israel."
According to the statement made by the Istanbul Governor's Office, the roads that will be closed between 04:00 and 12:00 as part of the "March for Mercy to Our Martyrs, Support for Palestine, and Condemnation of Israel," organized by the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA) Istanbul Provincial Representative Office, are as follows:
Eminönü-Sultanahmet / Sultanahmet-Eminönü tram line
Yenikapı-Eminönü and Eminönü-Yenikapı directions
Unkapanı Ragıp Gümüşpala Street
Kennedy Street from in front of the Çatladıkapı Social Facilities to the coastal road
Tersane Street
