Governor's Office issues severe storm warning

In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was noted that the expected storm would lose its effect in the morning hours, and it was emphasized that citizens should be prepared for any negative developments throughout the night. "A short-term storm is expected in our seas (western part of the Western Black Sea)!

According to the assessments of the General Directorate of Meteorology; on Monday, 27.04.2026, the wind is expected to blow as a storm from the north and northeast at force 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) in the western part of the Western Black Sea (European Side of Istanbul and Kırklareli).

The storm is expected to lose its effect in the morning hours of the same day. One should be careful and cautious against negative situations such as disruptions in transportation."
