Gürsel Tekin's first response to the decision to relocate the CHP provincial building: 'I thought they didn't know me'

In his statement following the decision to relocate the CHP provincial building, Gürsel Tekin said, "I will come to this building tomorrow too; this building is with us, in other words."

Making a statement after the CHP Headquarters' decision to relocate the Provincial Presidency building, Gürsel Tekin, a member of the trustee committee, responded to the question "Which building will you go to tomorrow?" by saying, "I will come here. To the place where I am right now. This building is with us, in other words."

Speaking to Ersin Eroğlu from TELE1, Tekin said the following:

“We don't need a place. We would set up a tent and work anyway. Our legal expert friends said that saying 'I have allocated this place' is not enough. I thought they didn't know me. If the judicial decision is law and wants us to leave here, then so be it. If they want, they can send us to Şırnak; we will go and perform our duty. We haven't even started our duty yet. We haven't even been able to form the board.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of our party's founding. We will do what is necessary within that framework. I will come here. To the place where I am right now. This building is with us, in other words."

Responding to the question, "Have you had any contact with Özgür Özel or anyone from the CHP Headquarters?", Tekin said, "We have had a lot of contact. It has been 7 days. All of our good-willed attitudes did not yield results. Our friends opening a debate about the building in Ankara naturally eliminates contact," he said.
