In the trial held at the Istanbul 36th High Criminal Court regarding the murder of Halil Falyalı and his driver Murat Demirtaş in Cyprus, the prosecutor, who presented their final opinion on the merits, requested that Mehmet Faysal Söylemez and Mustafa Söylemez be sentenced to two counts of aggravated life imprisonment and up to 12 years in prison each.

According to the report by Ferhat Yaşar from Gazete Duvar, the defense attorneys, in their response to the prosecutor's opinion, stated that they did not agree with the opinion and argued that there was no criminal organization involved.

The court panel, announcing its interim decision, ruled for the continuation of the detention of Abdurrahim Çelik, Cengiz Şener, Ender Yıldız, Mehmet Faysal Söylemez, and Mustafa Söylemez, and postponed the hearing to Friday, December 8, at 09:30.
