Harsh response from Iran to Trump: We will close the Strait of Hormuz completely!

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has responded to US President Donald Trump's threat regarding the Strait of Hormuz. It was stated that if Trump attacks Iran's energy infrastructure, the Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed. The Iranian administration emphasized that they would respond harshly if the US puts its threats into action.

ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ WILL BE CLOSED

According to reports in Western media, Trump gave Iran a 48-hour ultimatum, stating that if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened to ship traffic, Iran's energy facilities will be targeted. However, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement declaring that if the US carries out these threats, the Strait of Hormuz will be completely closed.

EVERY ATTACK ON ENERGY FACILITIES WILL BE ANSWERED

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned that harsh steps would be taken if the US targets Iran's energy infrastructure. While it was stated that companies linked to the US would be "completely destroyed," it was also noted that energy infrastructure in countries hosting American military bases would become "legitimate targets." Iran announced that it would use all its power to respond to an attack on the country's energy facilities.

"WE DID NOT START THE WAR, BUT WE WILL DEFEND OURSELVES"

The statement said, "We did not start the war, and we will not start it now. However, if the enemy damages our power plants, we will do everything in our power to defend our country and the interests of our people."

IRAN PROMISES PROPORTIONAL RESPONSE

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated in response to Trump's threats that Iran would respond to such attacks in a proportional manner. He expressed that threats against Iran's vital infrastructure constitute an attack on civilian elements that should not be targeted during wartime.

Gharibabadi stated that the United Nations Security Council has failed to fulfill its duty to prevent this aggression and stop violations, emphasizing that Iran has the right to legitimate self-defense. He also said that any attack on Iran's power plants and other vital infrastructure would be met with a proportional response.
