The Iranian Revolutionary Guard warned that harsh steps would be taken if the US targets Iran's energy infrastructure. Iran announced that it would use all its power to respond to an attack on the country's energy facilities.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated in response to Trump's threats that Iran would respond to such attacks in a proportional manner. He expressed that threats against Iran's vital infrastructure constitute an attack on civilian elements that should not be targeted during wartime.

Gharibabadi stated that the United Nations Security Council has failed to fulfill its duty to prevent this aggression and stop violations, emphasizing that Iran has the right to legitimate self-defense. He also said that any attack on Iran's power plants and other vital infrastructure would be met with a proportional response.
