Following the success achieved in the local elections, discussions have begun to resurface within the Republican People's Party (CHP), which had remained silent for a while.

The ongoing polemic between CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and journalist Yılmaz Özdil, in particular, has become a subject of debate within the party.

VERY HARSH CRITICISM FROM ÖZDİL TO ÖZGÜR ÖZEL

Continuing his criticisms of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Yılmaz Özdil used striking expressions in his new statements.

Claiming that there is demoralization and hopelessness among party members despite the short time that has passed since the victory CHP won in the local elections, Özdil criticized Özgür Özel's leadership in harsh language.  

Arguing that Özgür Özel cannot lead the CHP to success, Özdil said, "Atatürk's seat does not suit this man."

Furthermore, his analogy that "The probability of the Pope becoming a Muslim is higher than the probability of Özgür Özel leading the CHP to success" also drew attention.  

"THE ENTHUSIASM HAS DISAPPEARED"

Continuing his criticisms, Özdil stated that the CHP has lost momentum in the period since the local elections. Özdil said, "It hasn't even been 9 months since the local elections, but it feels like 9 years have passed. There is no trace left of that victory and enthusiasm; morale has disappeared in the party. People are asking, 'What will happen?' We said it right from the beginning, that it wouldn't work with Özgür Özel. That seat is Atatürk's seat, and one must be worthy of that seat," he expressed. 

Özdil, who broadcasts via his YouTube channel, also criticized the CHP's understanding of opposition, stating that the party needs a serious transformation, and assessed, "If the CHP really wants to come to power, it needs to shake itself off and come to its senses. The opposition must be conducted in a harsh and effective manner. Otherwise, this situation will continue like this."
