Following the terrorist attack in Ankara, access issues are being experienced on social media platforms. A large number of users report that messaging and communication applications such as Facebook, Twitter (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram, and Telegram are not functioning properly. Following the complaints, all eyes have turned to official authorities. So, has bandwidth throttling been applied, has the internet been slowed down, and why is Twitter not updating? The bomb attack on the TUSAŞ facility located in the Kahramankazan district of Ankara has turned the eyes and ears of Turkey toward that location. Citizens turned to social media to learn the details of the attack, but there is talk of a slowdown in social media applications. In posts made by many users, it is stated that there is an update problem in messaging and communication applications such as Facebook, Twitter (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram, or Telegram. 

There has been no official statement on the matter yet, but in the latest statement made by RTÜK, a broadcast ban was imposed regarding the incident.
