He cut his wrist and sent a photo to his girlfriend

The incident occurred around 23:00 in a studio apartment on the top floor of a 4-story building on 1058th Street in the Osman Gazi neighborhood.

According to allegations, A.G. (23), who was having problems with his girlfriend, cut his left wrist with a knife. A.G. then took a photo of his cut wrist with his mobile phone and sent it to his girlfriend.

Upon seeing the photo, his girlfriend immediately informed their other friends who live in the same building.

Following this, the building residents went to the apartment where A.G. was staying and knocked on the door; when it was not opened, they requested help from the 112 Emergency Call Center.

FOUND UNCONSCIOUS

Upon the report, health, fire, and police teams were immediately dispatched to the address. When A.G. did not open the door for the police teams that arrived at the scene, the apartment door was broken down by the fire department.

The teams that entered found A.G. unconscious and fainting from blood loss. The young man, who received his first intervention inside the house by medical personnel, was then taken by ambulance to Karaman Training and Research Hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
