He had been transferred back to prison: Statement on the health status of Murat Çalık

Zehra Çalık has made a statement regarding the health condition of her husband, Beylikdüzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, who is currently detained at the İzmir Buca Prison.

Speaking to Halk TV, Zehra Çalık said, "Prison conditions have negatively affected my husband's health, and he had to be transferred to the hospital. My husband needs to receive treatment at home under the supervision of his own doctors instead of in prison."

FORENSIC MEDICINE REPORT EXPECTED

Stating that they are waiting for the decision from the Council of Forensic Medicine, Zehra Çalık added, "We have been going through this process for about three weeks. According to the committee report, leukemia treatment is required when the result from the bone marrow reaches 6. Our results are in the 4-5 range, meaning we are on the verge of a relapse."

HE HAD BEEN TRANSFERRED TO FORENSIC MEDICINE

Murat Çalık had been transferred to the Istanbul Council of Forensic Medicine and was sent back to Buca Prison following the procedures. Whether Çalık will be released depends on the report to be issued by the Council of Forensic Medicine.
