He had stabbed his wife in the chest and killed her: The murderer husband in Bursa was caught 8 hours later

The incident occurred around 04:30 at the top floor of a 5-story apartment building on 1. Oylat Street in the Değirmenönü neighborhood of the central Yıldırım district. Mustafa Ali Ayda, whose 3-month restraining order had expired 15 days ago, came to the house where his wife, Burcu Ayda, a mother of 4, was living. Mustafa Ali Ayda suddenly attacked Burcu Ayda when she opened the door, stabbed his wife in the left chest with a knife he had with him, and fled. 

According to information obtained by 12punto.com.tr, neighbors who heard the screams of Burcu Ayda and her children and rushed to help found the woman lying in blood at the entrance of the door. Upon the notification of the neighbors, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Ayda, who received initial intervention at the scene by medical teams, was taken to Kestel State Hospital in critical condition. Police teams, who took extensive security measures at the scene, conducted an investigation. Despite the interventions made there, Burcu Ayda, who was taken under treatment, lost her life. 

HE HAD RECEIVED A RESTRAINING ORDER FOR INJURING HER PREVIOUSLY

It was learned that Mustafa Ali Ayda had previously received a restraining order for beating and dragging Burcu Ayda on the ground, and that the restraining order had expired on December 2, 2023. 

CAUGHT 8 HOURS LATER

Mustafa Ali Ayda, who fled after the murder, was caught 8 hours after the murder by teams from the Bursa Public Security Branch Directorate's Murder Bureau. Ayda, who was caught at his friend's workplace along with the murder weapon, was taken to the Public Security Branch Directorate for questioning.

It was alleged that Mustafa Ali Ayda, who is claimed to use drugs, had recently been saying that his wife was cheating on him.
