He hit the gas instead of the brake while arguing with his son, chaos ensued

The moments of the accident, in which the driver was slightly injured, were captured second-by-second on security cameras, and the moments when the young man tried to stop the vehicle while it was in motion and narrowly escaped the accident were also recorded.

It was reported that no driver's license record was found for the driver during the check.

The accident occurred in the Şekerhane neighborhood today at around 21:00.

Allegedly, M.A., who was arguing with his son, lost control while starting and moving his vehicle with license plate 34 GS 6575, and when he hit the gas instead of the brake, the vehicle crashed into a shop on the street. 

HE SURVIVED THE ACCIDENT WITH MINOR SCRATCHES

The driver's son, whose name could not be learned, tried to intervene in the car, which had its door open at the time of the incident, and narrowly escaped injury. The moments of the incident were captured second-by-second on the shop's security cameras.

After the accident, the driver got out of the vehicle on his own and survived the accident with minor scratches. 

Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. While there was material damage to the business, which was empty as it was outside working hours, and to the vehicle, the driver was taken to the hospital for a check-up.

An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
