Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş went to Silivri Prison yesterday (June 2) to visit the detained Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
İmamoğlu shared a post regarding Yavaş's visit on the X account named Presidential Candidate Office.
Thanking Yavaş for the visit, İmamoğlu said, "Since 2019, I have been sharing my knowledge, experience, and thoughts with Mayor Mansur in a very strong manner. Our indispensable principle has always been to ensure that our cities, our country, and our citizens reach a happy, peaceful, prosperous, and successful future. This is our sole destination, and we are very close companions on this path. I am proud of this friendship."

"I would like to thank my esteemed Mayor Mansur Yavaş for his visit yesterday, where we had the opportunity to discuss the difficult days our country is going through together.
