The bodies of the 20 soldiers who lost their lives in the military cargo plane crash that occurred on the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan were sent to their hometowns following procedures at the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institute. After a ceremony held for the martyrs at the Mürted Air Base, the remains were handed over to their families.

The funeral of Air Supply Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Ahmet Yasir Kuyucu, who was sent to Konya, will be laid to rest at the Konya Martyrs' Cemetery following the funeral prayer to be held at the Musalla Cemetery Namazgah after Friday prayers.

HE HAD EXCHANGED MESSAGES WITH HIS SISTER

The final text exchange between Martyr Kuyucu and his sister, which took place hours before the crash, has deeply affected those left behind. Responding to his sister's question, "Brother, are you okay?" with, "I'm fine, my sister, what's wrong? Did you see me in a dream?" Kuyucu listened to the dream his sister had.

His sister explained that she had seen her brother as a martyr in her dream and had performed the morning prayer because of it. It was stated that Kuyucu replied, "May it be for the best, my sister. I wish it were so, but where... Don't be sad, my sister."
