In the Çubuk district of Ankara, an intern student who fell into an elevator shaft from the 6th floor of a construction site has lost his life.

15-year-old A.K., a student at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School who was working as an intern at a construction site located on Kurbantepe Street in the Atatürk neighborhood, fell into the elevator shaft from the 6th floor.

Upon notification of the incident, 112 Emergency Health, police, and fire department teams were quickly dispatched to the scene.

A.K., who was taken to Halil Şıvgın Çubuk State Hospital in critical condition, lost his life despite all interventions.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
