Heartbreaking detail in bus tragedy: Identities of 8 people who lost their lives in Denizli accident revealed
The identities of the 8 passengers who lost their lives in the passenger bus that caught fire after hitting barriers in the Sarayköy district of Denizli have been confirmed. It was learned that the youngest victim of the tragedy, 9-month-old Eyüp Miraç Şen, was in his father's arms during the accident and died at the scene.

The passenger bus belonging to Pamukkale Turizm, operated by Mustafa Fevzi Mertun and traveling from İzmir to Antalya, lost control and hit the barriers near Tırkaz neighborhood on the Denizli-Aydın Highway. The bus, which was engulfed in flames following the impact, resulted in the deaths of the driver and 8 passengers, while 33 people were injured.

Following the accident, which occurred on the last day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, the bodies of those who lost their lives were taken to the morgue of the Denizli Forensic Medicine Institute Group Presidency for autopsy procedures.
According to initial findings, those who lost their lives in the accident were identified as captain driver Mustafa Fevzi Mertun, Merve Erik, Hayriye Arıkan, Civan Şen, 9-month-old Eyüp Miraç Şen, Zehra Eyiol, Fatma Kartal, and Kyrgyzstan citizen Gültilay Bığa.

It was learned that the youngest victim of the tragedy, 9-month-old Eyüp Miraç Şen, was in his father's arms at the moment of the accident and lost his life.
The investigation launched into the accident is ongoing.
