Heartbreaking farewell from mother whose 4 children drowned

In an incident that occurred in Hatay, a father and his 4 children lost their lives by drowning. The bodies of the foreign national father and his 4 children who drowned were received by the family. The moments when the mother, who lost her 4 children, embraced the lifeless body of her child were heart-wrenching.

The lifeless bodies of the father and his 4 children, who drowned in the State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) pond located in the Çatalhüyük neighborhood of Kumlu district, had been recovered by the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Underwater and Surface Search and Rescue teams and the Police Underwater Group Command.

It was learned that the foreign nationals identified at the hospital were the father, Ahmet Hacabdo (46), and his children, Muhammet, İbrahim, Abdo, and Hamit Elmeri.

The lifeless bodies of the father and the children, aged 6, 8, 18, and 21, were received by the family.

The final embrace of the mother, Rukeyye el Zobi, as she received the bodies of her children was heart-wrenching. It was learned that 4 of the bodies will be buried in Syria, and one of the children will be buried in Reyhanlı.
