Heavy downpour warning: Flood risk in 10 provinces
The Ministry of Interior has announced that, based on data from the Meteorological Service, heavy thunderstorms are expected today in many regions of Central Anatolia, the Aegean, and the Western Mediterranean. Citizens have been warned against adverse conditions such as flash floods, inundation, and transportation disruptions.
In a statement made on the Ministry of Interior's social media account, it was announced that according to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology, locally heavy thunderstorms will be effective today in Sivas, Kayseri, the eastern parts of Yozgat, Kırşehir, and Nevşehir.

The downpours will be locally heavy in the Inner Aegean in Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, and Denizli, as well as the inland parts of Muğla, the eastern parts of İzmir, Aydın, and Manisa, the southern and eastern parts of Kütahya, the inland parts of the Western Mediterranean in Isparta and Burdur, the inland parts of Antalya, and in the northwest of Central Anatolia in the southern and eastern districts of Eskişehir, the northern districts of Konya, and the southern and western districts of Ankara.

Citizens need to be cautious against flash floods, inundation, lightning, strong winds, and disruptions to transportation.
