Heavy rain and storm warning for six provinces

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has issued important warnings regarding the weather across Turkey. According to the statement, precipitation is expected in the Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia regions, as well as the inland parts of the Western and Central Black Sea, and the western parts of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia. Rainy weather will also be effective in Edirne, Kırklareli, Diyarbakır, and Mardin.

While thundery showers are expected along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, sleet will be seen in the western parts of Eastern Anatolia. Precipitation is forecast to be heavy, particularly in the Western Mediterranean, the coasts of İzmir and Aydın, and the south of Denizli. Severe rainfall is expected in the vicinity of Antalya and Muğla.

AIR TEMPERATURE AND WIND

While air temperatures across the country are expected to remain within seasonal norms, the wind is forecast to blow from the east and southeast at light to moderate strength. However, the wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts.

Due to these weather conditions, citizens are strongly advised to be careful and take precautions.
