According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Marmara region, the Aegean coast, Antalya, Isparta, Düzce, Zonguldak, and Bartın, as well as the coastal parts of Kastamonu.

The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms, and turning into sleet and snow in the vicinities of Edirne and Kırklareli after nighttime hours. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the western part of Marmara, and in the vicinities of Istanbul, Bursa, Yalova, and Kocaeli, as well as the North Aegean coasts. Mist and fog are expected locally in the eastern part of Marmara and in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation across the region. The precipitation is expected to be generally in the form of rain and showers, with occasional thunderstorms, and turning into sleet and snow in the vicinities of Edirne and Kırklareli after nighttime hours. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the western part of the region and in the vicinities of Istanbul, Bursa, Yalova, and Kocaeli. Mist and fog are expected locally in the eastern parts of the region during the morning and night hours.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy on the North Aegean coasts. The wind is expected to blow strongly from the south in the Aegean coast, with occasional short-term storms (40-70 km/h). Mist and fog are expected locally in the inner parts during the morning and night hours.
