According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the eastern Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, northern Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions, and the surroundings of Kayseri. 

The precipitation, which is expected to generally fall as rain and showers, and as sleet and snow in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the north and east of Eastern Anatolia, and the high altitudes of Sivas, is expected to be locally heavy in the western districts of Hatay, the surroundings of Osmaniye, the Andırın and Türkoğlu districts of Kahramanmaraş, and over time in the east of Diyarbakır, and the surroundings of Batman, Siirt, Mardin, and Şırnak. 

Mist and localized fog are expected in the Marmara region and in the inner and eastern parts during the morning and night hours.
