Heavy rainfall warning for five provinces
As part of meteorological warnings, heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected in Ankara, Bilecik, Bursa, Kütahya, and Eskişehir; authorities have urged citizens to take precautions.
Downpours and thunderstorms are expected to be effective in Ankara, Bilecik, Bursa, Kütahya, and Eskişehir. In line with meteorological data, a “yellow” code warning has been issued for the five provinces.
According to meteorological assessments, locally heavy downpours are forecast across Bilecik, in the eastern districts of Bursa, in the northern regions of Kütahya, and in the western parts of Eskişehir. In Ankara, rainfall is expected to intensify intermittently, particularly in the southern and western districts.
Authorities have called on citizens to be cautious and prepared against risks such as flash floods, inundation, lightning, hail, and strong winds during downpours. It was emphasized that protective measures should be increased against such weather events that could negatively affect daily life in the designated cities.
In light of the latest data from the Meteorological Service, it was stated that the relevant provinces have been marked with a “yellow” code on the map and that weather conditions should be monitored in real-time.
