According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and downpours in the Central and Eastern Mediterranean and Southeastern Anatolia, and sleet and snow in the east of Marmara, the Black Sea, the south and east of Central Anatolia, and Eastern Anatolia. 

Precipitation is expected to be heavy rain on the coasts of Hatay, Rize, and Artvin; and locally heavy snow in the surroundings of Hakkari and Bitlis, the southern districts of Muş and Van, and the inner and high parts of Rize and Artvin. 

Icing and frost are expected in the west of Marmara and in the inner and eastern regions, along with local mist and fog. 

There is an avalanche danger in the high parts of the inner sections of the Eastern Black Sea and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain in the east of the region and sleet at higher elevations. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the north and northeast. Icing and frost are expected in the west of the region during the morning and night hours, along with local mist and fog throughout the region.
