Heavy snowfall takes hold of Turkey

With the arrival of February, a significant drop in temperatures has been observed, and heavy snowfall was seen in many cities across Turkey, including Istanbul, last week.

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) stated in its 5-day weather forecast report that snowfall is expected in 50 provinces of Turkey as of Wednesday, while warnings have been issued one after another by authorities.
