Hezbollah announces: Israeli military positions struck

Hezbollah announced that military positions in northern Israel were struck with artillery fire and Katyusha rockets.

In a written statement issued by Hezbollah, it was stated that the headquarters of the Sahel battalion at the Beit Hillel Barracks in northern Israel was hit with a Katyusha rocket.

It was reported that the attack was carried out in response to Israel's strike on the town of Ayta ash Shab in southern Lebanon.

The statement noted that spy equipment at the Ruwaisat al-Alam position in the Kfar Chouba Hills was directly hit with weapons.

 

It was stated that the Marj region in Israel was directly hit with missiles, and that the military zone in Zarit was also targeted.

According to the official Lebanese news agency NNA, Israeli military aircraft conducted an airstrike on the town of Ayta ash Shab located in the border region.

It was recorded that 1 person was killed and 1 person was injured in the attack, which targeted a moving motorcycle.

Clashes have been occurring along the border line between the Israeli army and Lebanese Hezbollah since October 8, 2023.
