Hezbollah launches 6 missile attacks on Israel: Bases hit

Hezbollah announced that it has carried out a large-scale attack targeting military objectives in northern Israel.

In a statement released on its Telegram account, Hezbollah stated that two military airports, a military base, and an explosives factory were targeted in the attacks.

According to the statement, one of the primary targets of the attacks was the Megiddo Military Airport, located 30 kilometers from the Lebanese border. The airport was struck three consecutive times with Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles. This attack was notable as it was the first time Hezbollah has targeted this airport.

MAIN BASES AND EXPLOSIVES FACTORY ALSO HIT

Hezbollah's attacks were not limited to Megiddo Airport. The organization targeted the Ramat David Base and another airport in the region with Fadi 2 missiles. At the same time, the Amos Base, which provides logistical support to the Israeli army's northern region, was struck with a Fadi 1 missile. Hezbollah also announced that it hit an explosives factory in the Zihron region, approximately 60 kilometers from the Lebanese border.

Hezbollah stated that it carried out these attacks in order to "defend the Palestinian people in Gaza and the people of Lebanon."

COUNTER-ATTACK FROM ISRAEL

In response to Hezbollah's missile attacks, the Israeli army launched large-scale airstrikes on cities in southern Lebanon as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 492 people were killed and 1,645 people were injured in these attacks. It was reported that the deceased included 35 children and 58 women.

EDUCATION CRISIS IN LEBANON

Following Israel's attacks, the wave of migration from southern Lebanon toward the capital Beirut and northern regions has accelerated. While the Lebanese Ministry of Education announced that educational activities in the country have been suspended, the Ministry of Interior stated that schools in the south have been opened to shelter civilians fleeing the Israeli attacks.
