WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Mehmet Aslan, the father of martyr Infantry Contracted Private Kemal Aslan, who was martyred in the Claw-Lock region, attended his son's funeral wearing his son's uniform and had stated, "I do not grant my blessing to those who send greetings to Selahattin Demirtaş and Osman Kavala."
Journalist Can Ataklı reacted to these words in a video he published on his YouTube channel, stating, "They are shoving a microphone into the man's hand on the other side, too. He says, 'We do not grant our blessing to those who want freedom for Kavala and Öcalan.' Who are you, man, who are you? Just because you are a martyr's father, do you have the right to say whatever you want?"
