Holiday greeting crisis in the People's Alliance: MHP closes doors to junior partner, AKP to former partner

The program for the traditional political party holiday greetings to be held on the second day of Eid al-Adha has been determined. While the CHP announced that it would not conduct institutional-level greeting visits this year, the contact traffic of the AKP and MHP contains noteworthy details.

MHP IS NOT EXCHANGING GREETINGS WITH BBP

The holiday greeting program at the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will begin in the morning hours. The delegation that will receive parties at the MHP Headquarters will consist of Deputy Chairman Zühal Topcu, Politics and Leadership School Coordinator and Central Executive Committee (MYK) Member Turan Şahin, and MYK Member Özmen Alp Giray Erdemir.

Visits to other parties will be carried out by Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz, Chief Advisor to the Chairman and MYK Member Esma Özdaşlı, and MYK Member Şahin Kartal.

The greetings will begin at 09:00 with the reception of the Democratic Left Party (DSP) delegation. The DEM Party delegation will visit the MHP at 09:25, and the AKP delegation will visit at 09:50. Throughout the day, the Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), DEVA Party, and Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) will also exchange greetings with the MHP in order.

The MHP delegation will pay return visits to these parties at the same times. However, it was observed that the MHP decided not to exchange greetings with the Great Unity Party (BBP), HÜDA PAR, and the IYI Party this year.

TWO SEPARATE DELEGATIONS FROM AKP, YRP NOT ON THE LIST

The Justice and Development Party (AKP), on the other hand, will visit other political parties on the second day of the holiday through two different delegations. The AKP delegation that will receive parties will be chaired by Deputy Chairman Belgin Uygur. The delegation will also include Deputy Head of Civil Society and Public Relations Selahattin Yağcı, Women's Branch MYK Member Rukiye Toy, and Youth Branch MYK Member Abdullah Uçan.

The first of the visiting delegations will be chaired by Adıyaman Deputy Resul Kurt and will consist of Women's Branch Central Decision and Administrative Committee (MKYK) Member Tuba Özdemir and Youth Branch MYK Member Özge Çelik. This team will visit HÜDA PAR, the BBP, the IYI Party, and the DEM Party.

The second delegation will be chaired by Deputy Head of Civil Society and Public Relations Kerem Ali Sürekli and will consist of Women's Branch MKYK Member Saniye Enfiyeci and Youth Branch MKYK Member Muhammed Abdulkadir Kadirioğlu. This delegation will visit the MHP, the Motherland Party (Anavatan Partisi), the DSP, the Vatan Party, and the True Path Party (Doğru Yol Partisi).

However, it is noteworthy that the New Welfare Party (YRP) is not included in the visit calendar of either the AKP or the MHP. Similarly, the two parties did not visit the YRP during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
