Holiday return traffic in Tekirdağ
As holidaymakers begin their early return on the Tekirdağ-Istanbul road, traffic congestion has emerged, while police teams continue their inspections. Vehicle queues stretch for kilometers, particularly in the Çorlu, Yenice, and Yeniçiftlik areas, as teams issue warnings to drivers.
Due to holidaymakers starting their return early, traffic congestion is being experienced in the Çorlu, Yenice, and Yeniçiftlik areas of Tekirdağ. Traffic occasionally comes to a standstill due to the density of vehicles, particularly in the Çorlu, Yenice, and Yeniçiftlik regions, with vehicle queues stretching for kilometers. The Tekirdağ Provincial Police Department Traffic Branch and Gendarmerie Traffic Branch teams are continuing their inspections to ensure there are no disruptions in their areas of responsibility.
Teams have taken measures at various points to ensure the flow of traffic and to warn drivers to comply with the rules.
Authorities are warning drivers to adhere to speed limits, maintain a safe following distance, and be particularly cautious at signalized intersections.
