Horrific accident in Burdur: Car plunges into a ditch
A 21-year-old driver lost his life after his car went out of control and plunged into a ditch near Akyayla village, while another person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries.
In a traffic accident that occurred near the village of Akyayla in Burdur, the car driven by young driver Miraç Emre Aybattı went out of control for an unknown reason and plunged into a ditch. Following reports from bystanders regarding the incident, which took place around 18:00, health, gendarmerie, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area in a short time.
The driver, Miraç Emre Aybattı, who was seriously injured in the accident, lost his life at the scene despite all interventions, while 21-year-old Mustafa K., who was in the car, was transferred to Burdur State Hospital after receiving initial treatment from medical teams.
The body of the deceased, Aybattı, was taken to the hospital morgue following investigations.
