Horrific death: Guardrail pierced through the front of the car and reached the back seat

The incident occurred on the Kuruçeşme Fatih Neighborhood D-100 highway crossing in the direction of Istanbul.

According to the information obtained, the Tofaş brand car with license plate 61 AAJ 582, driven by Onur Kaya, lost control and became impaled on the guardrail at the road junction.

With the force of the impact, the guardrail entered through the car's windshield and traveled as far as the right rear seat.

Other drivers who witnessed the accident reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the address.

Onur Kaya was extracted from the car where he was trapped through the intervention of the fire department teams. Checks performed by health teams determined that Onur Kaya had lost his life.

Following the work of the crime scene investigation police at the site of the accident, Onur Kaya's lifeless body was taken to the Kocaeli State Hospital Morgue for autopsy procedures.

On the other hand, vehicle congestion formed on the D-100 Highway in the direction of Istanbul due to the accident. Vehicle passage was provided in a controlled manner by police teams.

An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
