Horrific incident in Fatih: He killed his wife, then set the house on fire to cover it up

In the incident that occurred at night in Fatih's Zeyrek neighborhood, flames rising from the third floor of a four-story building on Şebnem Street prompted local residents to notify the authorities, leading to the dispatch of fire crews to the scene. During the inspection conducted after the fire was extinguished, the lifeless body of Semanur Algül, who lived in the house, was discovered. It was stated that an autopsy would be performed on the young woman's body, which was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute following her death.

Speaking after this tragic event, Semanur Algül's mother, Suzan Aydın, stated that her daughter had been subjected to violence by her husband, H.A., for a long time and that she had been worried about her life.
