Hospital horror on New Year's Eve: Patient stabbed by their companion
In the Atakum district of Samsun, Nihat K., who had been taken to the hospital after falling ill, was stabbed by Alihan E., who was accompanying him.
The incident in Samsun occurred around 01:00 at the emergency department of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) Faculty of Medicine Hospital in the Atakum district.
Nihat K., who had fallen ill, was taken to the OMÜ Faculty of Medicine Hospital Emergency Department by his relatives. After a while, Nihat K. began to argue with his companion, Alihan E., who had come to be with him.
STABBED IN THE NECK
As the argument escalated, Alihan E. wounded Nihat K. in the neck with a knife he was carrying. While panic and fear gripped the emergency department, Nihat K., who was left covered in blood, was taken to the red zone by staff and placed under treatment.
The assailant, Alihan E., was apprehended at the scene and taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
