How does the public view drug operations? 'A factional race within the AKP...'
Aksoy Research founder Ertan Aksoy stated that while a large portion of drug operations targeting celebrities are based on legal grounds, they may also be conducted for political reasons. Aksoy suggested that these operations could be related to factional rivalries within the AKP and efforts by the judiciary to regain its reputation.
Drug operations targeting famous individuals, including journalists, presenters, actors, business people, and sports club executives, continue to be a subject of debate.
At the center of the discussions is the question of whether these operations are conducted for political or legal reasons.
Aksoy Research founder Ertan Aksoy announced that, according to their measurements, 85 percent of the public views these operations as legal rather than political.
Making statements on social media regarding current events, Ertan Aksoy said about the drug operations targeting celebrities: "A total of 85 percent of the public views the matter as having a legal basis, either by answering directly or by saying it is both political and legal.

14-15 percent see the operations as political," he said.
Ertan Aksoy evaluated the results of their measurement regarding the operations targeting celebrities as follows:
The probability that an operation of this scale is not based on a political decision is extremely low. If you ask, "So what is the political decision here?", in my opinion, there is a high probability of a factional race within the AKP. However, the issue is not limited to this alone.
On the other hand, the reputation of the judiciary is steadily declining. Trust in the judiciary is extremely low even in ordinary criminal cases. I say this for the following reason: There is a quest to restore the reputation of the judiciary. I think the aim is to send the message: "Look, there is a judiciary that can now touch everyone, not just CHP politicians, not just İmamoğlu."
