Huge price hike for natural gas: Here are the new tariffs
With a decision by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) published in the Official Gazette, natural gas connection and service fees have been increased by between 43.65% and 77.96%. The new tariffs came into effect as of 2025.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) has published its decision regarding the price hike for natural gas connection and service fees in the Official Gazette.
In line with the decision, an increase ranging from 43.65% to 77.96% will be applied to connection and service fees that will affect natural gas users in 2025.
WHAT WILL THE PRICE BE IN THE NEW TARIFF?
According to the new tariff, the subscriber connection fee has increased by 77.96% to 6,154 TL, while security deposits have also shown significant increases across different categories. The security deposit for a combi boiler has risen to 3,035 TL (45.42%), while security deposits for stoves and central systems have risen to 2,673 TL.
The meter connection/disconnection fee has been set at 157 TL (46.72%), and the prepaid meter replacement fee at 1,630 TL (47.11%). Internal installation processing fees for riser line projects and different meter types have also seen increases of over 47%.

Subscriber connection fee: 6,154 TL (77.96%)
Additional subscriber connection fee: 5,353 TL/100m2 (77.95%)
Connection inspection and approval fee: 3,471 TL/first 100m (47.07%)
Connection inspection and approval fee: 22 TL/additional 1m (46.66%)
Security deposit for combi boiler: 3,035 TL/unit (45.42%)
Security deposit for stove: 2,673 TL/residence (45.66%)
Security deposit for central system: 2,673 TL/BBS (45.66%)
Security deposit for stove/hob: 181 TL (43.65%)
Security deposit for water heater: 362 TL (43.65%)
Prepaid meter replacement fee: 1,630 TL (47.11%)
Meter connection/disconnection fee: 157 TL (46.72%)
Service box removal fee: 1,384 TL (47.07%).
