Hüseyin Kocabıyık, expelled from AKP: Someone is preparing the conditions to liquidate the AK Party

Former MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık, who was expelled from the AKP after supporting Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, reacted to the new operations targeting CHP-run municipalities. Kocabıyık stated, "Someone is preparing the conditions to liquidate the AK Party. At this rate, the end of the AK Party will be like the end of the February 28 process."

Hüseyin Kocabıyık, expelled from AKP: Someone is preparing the conditions to liquidate the AK Party

While the successive operations targeting CHP-run municipalities have caused a major stir in public opinion, one of the most notable reactions came today from former AKP MP Hüseyin Kocabıyık. Kocabıyık, who was previously expelled from the AKP for opposing the debates surrounding Ekrem İmamoğlu's diploma and the subsequent developments, evaluated the ongoing process through harsh posts on his social media account.

The fact that Kocabıyık, who engaged in politics within the AKP for many years, has this time directly targeted his own party has brought about serious discussions behind the scenes. Having been forced to leave the party in the past due to his reaction against a potential arrest process targeting İmamoğlu, Kocabıyık has made a similar statement once again.

In his statement, Kocabıyık said, "Those who do these things are not acting in good faith," sending a message that will resonate not only within the AKP but also in the public eye. Kocabıyık stated, "Those who act not for the sake of the homeland, but for their own interests, are collapsing the country's defense reflexes. Everyone is watching."

"THIS TREND IS NOT A GOOD SIGN"

Hüseyin Kocabıyık made striking observations in a series of social media messages referring to the new operations against CHP-run municipalities. Beginning his post with the words, "Someone is preparing the conditions to liquidate the AK Party. At this rate, the end of the party will resemble the end of the February 28 process," Kocabıyık clearly expressed his concern.

"THERE IS NO GOOD INTENTION BEHIND THESE ACTIONS"

This unusual criticism coming from within the AKP continued with remarkable expressions. Addressing the individuals with whom he once shared the same political ranks, Kocabıyık wrote:

"Let me tell the friends I once practiced politics with, with all my knowledge and experience: whoever the person is who is doing and ordering these things, know that they do not have good intentions. They are not working for the homeland and the nation, but for themselves. Everyone has a conscience, and everyone loves their country. Ask your consciences honestly: are these things happening for the good of Turkey?"

Stating that the government should try to ensure unity and solidarity within the country, Kocabıyık drew attention to both the political and economic repercussions of the process, saying, "We were supposed to strengthen the internal front, right? Do you think the CHP will just sit idly by at its headquarters now? It is said that the cost of the Ekrem İmamoğlu operation is billions of dollars. Everyone should question the intentions of those behind these actions. All of Turkey's defensive reflexes are being dismantled, and everyone is just watching."

"THE COST OF THE İMAMOĞLU OPERATION IS BILLIONS OF DOLLARS"

Kocabıyık emphasized that the judicial process against IMM Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has serious consequences not only politically but also economically. He used the following expressions regarding the matter:

"It is said that the cost of this operation amounts to billions of dollars. Everyone should question this process and the intentions behind it."
