As the CHP prepares for a primary election in which its delegates will participate, Ekrem İmamoğlu has made an official statement through a post on his social media account.

In his social media post, Ekrem İmamoğlu made the following statements:

"I am setting out with the ambition to first be a candidate, then President.

With common sense and consensus, Turkey will stand back up, and we will regain our unity and brotherhood as a nation."
