İmamoğlu explains with figures: Istanbul breaks record in rail system projects
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and imprisoned presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu shared the current status of the city's rail system investments with up-to-date data. İmamoğlu stated, "We have become the administration that has signed off on the most metro projects in Istanbul."
Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently imprisoned at Silivri Marmara Prison, reported on the metro investments made since he took office in 2019. Sharing his statement via the Presidential Candidate Office's social media account, İmamoğlu pointed out that significant progress has been made in rail system projects.
In his statement, İmamoğlu said, "Despite all the efforts and obstacles of a handful of ambitious people, we have written history in rail systems," adding, "We have provided Istanbul with its most productive period for metro construction. I would like to share the figures with you as well, with my thanks to my competent colleagues."
